Nickie Mueller

I’m the Personal Trainer Coordinator and nationally certified personal trainer for the Central Clemson Rec Center. My national training certification is through NESTA and I’m also a certified as a Mind Body Fitness Coach, Lifestyle Weight Management Specialist, and a certified Green Living Coach. My passion for personal training began in college when I started working for a local gym. I focused my education on health science and nutrition earning my BS at Clemson University in 1996.

I’m very passionate about helping others find happiness in life and feel good about themselves. I make a point to make each workout fun and always customize my clients workouts for what their needs and goals are.

For me, a healthy lifestyle is much more than just lifting weights, I love helping others see and experience what their bodies are capable of with just enough hard work. I make it a goal to help my clients achieve a happy and well-balanced lifestyle that will minimize the risk of future health-related issues.

David Shealy

I became a fitness enthusiast as a teenager, after getting a taste of the satisfaction that can come from transforming and improving one's own body and capabilities. In 2019, After years of training on my own and then witnessing the ways that neglect of one's body can lead to hardship and loss of independence in old age, I pursued a career in fitness and wellness to help others achieve their own goals and keep their bodies serving them well as they age.

I am ISSA certified and hold a specialization in Corrective Exercise Therapy. In training, I like to combine traditional strength training with functional exercises that will help people better perform the tasks they need or want to do in their daily lives.

My philosophy is that fitness is a form of self-improvement and part of the path to becoming the person we wish to be. It should be challenging, but not a chore.

Daniella Nichols

Hi, My name is Daniella Nichols. I am certified for personal training through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and I have been weight training for 4 years now and I ran track, played field hockey and lacrosse during high school. I am currently a student at Clemson University and in the Air Force ROTC program. My passion for fitness started through a weight lifting class I took in high school and has been developing ever since. I love personal training because it gives me an opportunity to share the knowledge I have about fitness with others and also create one-on-one connections with clients. I have experience working with a variety of different people, from young athletes to those aiming to increase mobility, as well as people who are aiming to produce high muscle strength. I believe fitness is very important for everyone and can look different for different people who have different lifestyles or different preferences but setting goals are key to progressing in one's fitness journey.
